What’s better than wings and dip for a Superbowl get-together ? Oh that’s right, both of those… combined! A few months ago I was over my friend’s house for a dinner party and she made such an incredible dip, I knew I needed to ask her for the recipe, and what better time to do that than on Superbowl Sunday. Plus, Sal begged, and I just couldn’t say no, even though it’s probably not the healthiest of dips! It’s extremely simple and took no time at all to put together and pop into the oven.
Buffalo Chicken Dip
yield: 5 cups
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup hot sauce (I used Frank’s Hot Sauce)
1 cup ranch salad dressing
3 cans (4-1/2 ounces each) chunk white chicken, drained and shredded
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Corn or tortilla chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, hot sauce, and salad dressing.
3. Stir in chicken.
4. Spread into an ungreased 11in. x 7in. baking dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 20-22 minutes or until heated through. Serve with chips!
