Apple Sandwiches

I am posting another apple recipe because, honestly, who doesn’t like apples during the fall?! Plus this recipe couldn’t be any simpler or healthier. These apple sandwiches would make a great snack throughout the day, or even for breakfast or dessert – for you or the kids!

Apple Sandwiches

Ingredients:

1 apple (any type)
1-2 tablespoons of all natural peanut butter
sprinkle of any kind of granola

Directions:

1. Slice the apple horizontally and cut out the middle (may use an apple corer or a knife like me since I do not have a corer).

2. Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on one side of each apple slice.

3. Sprinkle with granola, and close the sandwiches.
