Such a simple and quick meal. It took me no time at all to prepare it, which was good because I got home from work around 5:00 P.M and didn’t want my family waiting all night to eat. It ended up being such a healthy, enjoyable meal. I served it with a simple salad, which was prepared by my brother. If you’re looking for a vegetarian meal, or even just a healthy one, here is one for you!
Spicy Broccoli Pasta
1 lb. broccoli
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1 lb. pasta, cooked
1. Cook broccoli in boiling water, 3-5 minutes until just tender.
2. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add garlic. Cook over medium heat until just golden, about 2 minutes.
3. Add drained broccoli and red pepper flakes, and cook 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Add hot sauce to cooked pasta. Toss and serve.
